My Approach
My treatment style is slow, focused, and intuitive. I adjust each session based on what your body needs that day, using a gentle but firm pressure. Many clients have said they don’t have to explain much — I tend to find the spots that need attention, even before they say a word.
Working from home allows me the flexibiity I love and that translates into better service for my clients. Appointments are spaced out with care so no one ever feels rushed, and I keep my schedule limited so I can offer same-week care when needed. Whether you're seeking support during pregnancy or simply looking for a calm, grounded treatment, I aim to make each session feel personal, respectful, and restorative.
How Massage Therapy can help you.
Pregnancy aches and pains
Massage therapy can ease common discomforts during pregnancy such as low back pain, hip tension, and leg soreness. Prenatal massage in Kingston is tailored to your comfort and positioning, helping you feel supported as your body changes.
Postpartum recovery support
After birth, many parents experience shoulder and neck strain from feeding, tension around a C-section scar, or general fatigue. Postnatal massage can gently support your healing and help you reconnect with your body.
Headaches
Tension headaches or stress headaches often come from tight neck and shoulder muscles. Massage can reduce this tension, ease pain, and promote relaxation.
Neck and shoulder stiffness
Working at a desk, carrying children, or spending too much time looking at screens often leads to sore, stiff shoulders and neck pain. Massage helps release these tight muscles and restore mobility.
Low back pain and sciatic-like discomfort
Nagging low back pain or radiating discomfort into the hips and legs can often be eased with massage therapy, especially when caused by tight muscles or strain from daily activities.
Stress and trouble sleeping
Massage activates the body’s relaxation response, helping to reduce stress and promote better sleep. Many clients notice improved rest and a greater sense of calm after treatment.
Jaw pain and clenching (TMJ issues)
If you grind your teeth, clench your jaw, or feel soreness in your face, massage can release tension in the jaw and surrounding muscles to ease discomfort.
Shoulder problems (frozen shoulder or stiffness)
Massage therapy can support recovery from frozen shoulder or general stiffness by improving mobility, circulation, and reducing compensatory tension in surrounding areas.
Repetitive strain injuries (RSIs)
From typing to childcare to physical work, repetitive tasks can cause wrist, elbow, or forearm pain. Massage can help reduce strain and improve comfort in these areas.
Posture-related pain
Slouching at a desk, rounded shoulders, or long hours of standing can all create pain. Massage helps restore balance and ease the muscle tension caused by poor posture.

Massage FAQs
Yes, absolutely. Massage is safe at every stage of pregnancy, including the first trimester. It’s a proven way to reduce stress, relieve pain, and support your body through the changes of pregnancy.
The idea that massage can trigger labour in early pregnancy is a common myth — there’s no evidence behind it. I always use safe, tailored techniques, especially when working with prenatal clients in early pregnancy.
You’ll be supported with comfortable, pregnancy-safe positioning:
- First & Second trimester: Often face-down (prone) with supportive cushions, depending on your comfort and stage of pregnancy.
- Third trimester: Typically side-lying with pillows and bolsters for maximum comfort and safety.

Your first session begins with a conversation about your health and pregnancy stage. I’ll explain positioning and safety protocols so you feel informed and comfortable.
Please arrive 5–10 minutes early to complete intake forms and allow time to settle in, so your session can begin in a calm and relaxed way.
No referral is needed. As an RMT, I provide receipts accepted by most insurance plans.
If you have high blood pressure, pre‑eclampsia, gestational diabetes, a high‑risk pregnancy, or significant swelling, please get clearance from your healthcare provider first.
Prenatal massage can ease back pain, reduce swelling, improve circulation, decrease stress, promote better sleep, and offer emotional support during pregnancy.
